The Melanesian Gallery is a wholesaler and retailer of
genuine Solomon Island handicrafts, carvings and artworks. We have been established since 1970 and export handicrafts all over the world.

The partners of Melanesian Gallery, Sir Mariano Kelesi and Bruce Saunders have many years experience in the rich and diverse handicrafts of the Solomon Islands.

The artifacts of the South Seas are very genuine. That is to say, they are worked with te simplest tools, often with none, and by hand only. Their materials are taken directly from nature, are generally living and fashioned with small preparation, merely in most cases by that of water and the
sun. The imagination brought to the work is fresh and unaffected by the visual platitudes of the West.
